It's Rapunzel's bachelorette party, and all her best gal pals are in attendance: Cinderella, Mulan, Tiana, and Belle. Everything is going fine until the unanimously disliked Ariel crashes the party and is stabbed to death with the very fork she gifted Rapunzel. A classic who-done-it with classic characters in a not-so-classic setting! Who Killed Ariel? was written by local playwrights Kelliann Kary and Audrey Callerstrom.

Smartmouth Comedy was founded in September of 2016 by Jenna Papke, Audrey Callerstrom, Catherine Hansen, and Kelliann Kary. They set out to create an inclusive and enriching environment for the women in our community to practice comedy. Since then, we've added 2 producers and twelve company members. In our first year, we worked with over 75 actors, writers, directors, and technicians, 61 of whom identify as female. We've crossed improv, sketch, and theater communities to create new and interesting opportunities for performers who rarely venture out of their focused art form.

This is an important production for Smartmouth Comedy. We've spent the last year honing our skills as producers and earning the trust and respect of our community through monthly installments of sketch and improv-fused shows. We've taken every possible step to ensure our actors are not only comfortable but empowered on stage and our audiences walk away happy with their choice to spend an evening with us. When we started this company we were committed to doing it right and building what would become a respected and valued addition to the community that we serve.
