Stages Theatre Co Presents CLICK, CLACK, MOO Through 5/1

By:

Stages Theatre Company (STC) opens "Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type" April 16 at the Hopkins Center for the Arts. Based on the book by Doreen Cronin, this world premiere production brings a family together on stage and behind the scenes.

Actor Bruce Rowan has been with STC for more than 18 years, but "Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type" is the first time he has had the opportunity to work alongside his two children, actor Nathan Rowan and composer Jake Rowan, as adults. "Nothing could have prepared me for the excitement and pride I feel with this production. I enjoyed their individual talents as children. I'm in awe of them now," says Bruce Rowan.

Both Jake and Nathan Rowan are alumni of STC and previously performed in productions growing up. "At Stages Theatre Company, working with others to create a performance-ready product has definitely made me a good collaborator," said Nathan. "Some of my favorite seasons were those followed by summer theater workshops."

"Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type" runs April 16 through the May 1. To purchase tickets, please visit www.stagestheatre.org for performance dates and times, or call the box office at (952) 979-1111, Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for children (ages 5 to 17) and seniors (60+). Lap passes are available for free (ages 0 to 2) and $5 for (ages 3 to 4). The show is suitable for all ages and the run time is 60 minutes.

Stages Theatre Company was founded in 1984 and since then has grown to become one of the largest professional theatres for young audiences in the country. We engage young artists with themes relevant to their lives and involve them in creating magical works featuring young people in meaningful roles. Through theatrical productions, workshops, conservatory classes and other outreach programs, Stages Theatre Company annually serves more than 125,000 young people and their families.
