Review: CALUM SCOTT - THE AVENOIR TOUR 2026 at The Fillmore Minneapolis

Calum Scott wrapped up the U.S. leg of The Avenoir Tour 2026 Sunday night at the Fillmore Minneapolis, and it honestly felt like more than just another stop—it had that “last night” kind of energy from the start.

He’d already been out in the city earlier in the day throwing the first pitch at the Minnesota Twins game (which he joked about onstage), and by the end of the show he came back out wearing a Twins jersey. It could’ve been corny, but it actually worked—it just felt like he was having a really good day and wanted to share that with the crowd.

He opened with “Avenoir,” which set a more emotional tone right away. From there, he moved through songs like “God Knows,” “Roots,” and “At Your Worst” pretty smoothly. His voice was super solid all night—no overdoing it, just really controlled and honest. “What I Miss Most” was one of those moments where you could feel the whole room go quiet and just listen.

In between songs, he talked a lot—some funny stories, some more personal stuff—and it never felt awkward or dragged out. One thing that stood out was how genuinely thankful he seemed. He kept coming back to how much he appreciated this crowd, and it didn’t feel like something he says every night. You could tell it actually meant something to him to end the U.S. tour there.

The middle of the set had some of the best moments. “Rhythm Inside” built up really well, “Mad” felt pretty raw, and “No Matter What” turned into a big singalong. At one point he went out into the crowd for “I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me),” which made the whole thing feel more relaxed and fun.

Later on, he switched things up a bit. The “Where Are You Now / Numb” mashup was a cool surprise, and “Whistle” brought the energy back up. Then he slowed things down again with “Biblical” and “Die for You,” which were probably some of his strongest vocal moments of the night.

“Lighthouse” closed the main set, and by then the crowd was completely with him. For the encore, “You Are the Reason” had basically everyone singing along, and “Dancing on My Own” ended the night in the best way—big, emotional, and just a great closer.

At the end, with him standing there in the Twins jersey just taking it all in, it didn’t feel rushed or like he was ready to move on to the next city. It felt like he really wanted to be in that moment.

Overall, it just felt like a really genuine show—nothing over the top, just good music, some great crowd moments, and an artist who clearly appreciated being there.

Thank you Calum for a great night of music! We hope to have you back again soon!
