Theatre in the Round Players (TRP) presents the classic tragedy Hamlet by William Shakespeare in weekend performances March 18 through April 17, 2011.

One of the most powerful and influential tragedies in the English language returns to the arena. The royal court is overwhelmed by grief, hauntings, real and feigned madness, violence and treachery as its Prince seeks revenge for a murdered father.

Matt Sciple directs Clarence Wethern in the title role and a cast of fourteen. Sets are designed by Chad van Kekerix, costumes by Carolann Winter, lighting by Daniel Ellis, and features an original score by Don Sweet.

An audience discussion with director Sciple and members of the company will follow the matinee performance on Sunday, March 27th.

Tickets are $20, with discounts for seniors and a student price of $10 on Fridays and Sundays. For information, call the theatre's box office at 612-333-3010 or visit its website at www.TheatreintheRound.org.
