Performances of NEIGHBORS by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins will resume on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 7:30pm at Mixed Blood Theatre.

Shawn Hamilton (Avenue Q, Six Degrees of Separation) will take the role of "Mammy," originally played by Warren C. Bowles, who experienced a cardiac arrest on opening night, Friday, Sept. 16. Bowles --conscious and conversant--remains in HCMC's Intensive Care Unit, where his condition has been officially upgraded from critical to serious.

Over the next few days, he will undergo a battery of heart-related tests. For further updates, visit Warren Bowles' CaringBridge site at www.caringbridge.org/visit/warrenbowles
