Minnesota Dance Theatre concluded the 2009-'10 season at the Lab Theater with its usual trademark of multifaceted repertory. The season offered three world premieres by Caroline Beach, Mariusz Olszewski and company member Justin Leaf, as well as treasured gems created for Minnesota Dance Theatre by choreographers Danny Buraczeski and Wynn Fricke, and work by New York dance icons George Balanchine and Eliot Feld.

This season, the talented company members shared the stage with guests artists from New York City Ballet and American Ballet Theatre.

Founder Loyce Houlton's CARMINA BURANA filled the Lab in sold-out performances with the expected dynamic mix of MDT dancers, singers and musicians, and our 46th annual "...marvel of balletic storytelling..." the NUTCRACKER FANTASY once again took to the stage with a cast of more than 100 dancers and 44 musicians under the baton of Philip Brunelle.

The company resumes for I.C.E. in August, Intensive Choreographic Exploration with new commissions to be presented in the 2010-'11 season.

Watch for our 2010-'11 season announcement of DANCETHATDARES.
