GREASE Returns To The Orpheum 11/18-22

Grease, with platinum-selling recording artist and "American Idol" winner Taylor Hicks appearing as "Teen Angel" at select performances, returns by popular demand to Hennepin Theatre Trust's Orpheum Theatre, Nov. 18-22, 2009.

The crowd favorite highlights songs from the 1978 motion picture including "Sandy," the Academy Award nominated "Hopelessly Devoted To You," "Grease" and "You're the One That I Want," both of which were #1 hits on the Billboard Top 100 list. These songs are heard in addition to the Jacobs/Casey songs made famous by the original stage production including "Summer Nights," "Greased Lightnin'" and "We Go Together." Tickets for Grease are on sale now. Grease is presented by Hennepin Theatre Trust as a special on its 2009/10 Broadway Across America-Minneapolis Season. Tickets for Grease are on sale now and range in price from $28-78 (subject to change) depending on performance time and seating preference. All prices include applicable facility fees. Additional charges may apply. Performance dates for Grease are Wednesday, Nov. 18 to Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009 at the Orpheum Theatre, 910 Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis, 55403. Show times are Wednesday and Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 8 p.m. and Sunday at 1 and 6:30 p.m. Please note that Taylor Hicks is scheduled to perform in the following shows: Wednesday, Nov. 18, Thursday, Nov. 19 and Friday, Nov. 20.
