Brave New Workshop Sets 2014 Holiday Show
The Brave New Workshop Theatre (BNW) has announced the title and cast of its holiday show, "Twerking Around the Christmas Tree." Previews for the show run November 7-14, with opening night on Saturday, November 15. "Twerking Around the Christmas Tree" runs through January 31. All performances are at the Brave New Workshop Theatre main stage at 824 Hennepin Avenue, Downtown Minneapolis. The Brave New Workshop's holiday show is a cherished annual event for those most likely to wind up on the 'naughty' list. With "Twerking Around the Christmas Tree", the BNW sticks out its tongue at tradition with a hilarious take on the delights and dilemmas of the holiday season.
"Twerking Around the Christmas Tree" will feature BNW cast members Lauren Anderson, Matt Erkel, Bobby Gardner, Andy Hilbrands, and Melanie Wehrmacher. The show is directed by Katy McEwen. Peter Guertin returns as music director, and Matthew Vichlach will provide technical direction.
