The Brave New Workshop Theatre (BNW) welcomes deaf and hard-of-hearing patrons to enjoy an ASL-interpreted performance of their hit holiday sketch comedy revue "Twerking Around the Christmas Tree." This show, interpreted by professional ASL interpreters Tarra Grammenos and Carlos Grant, will be on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 8pm at the Brave New Workshop Theatre at 824 Hennepin Ave in downtown Minneapolis. Tickets are on sale now online and via the BNW box office, with special sightline seating reserved for ASL patrons.

The Brave New Workshop's holiday show is a cherished annual event for those most likely to wind up on the 'naughty' list. With "Twerking Around the Christmas Tree," the BNW sticks out its tongue at tradition with a hilarious take on the delights and dilemmas of the holiday season.

"Twerking Around the Christmas Tree" features cast members Lauren Anderson, Bobby Gardner, Andy Hilbrands, and Melanie Wehrmacher. Directed by Katy McEwen, with Musical Direction by Peter Guertin and Technical Direction by Matthew Vichlach.
