Jon Cranney will adapt and direct FEZZIWIG'S FEAST, a delightful telling of A CHRISTMAS CAROL.

A special adaptation of A CHRISTMAS CAROL by Charles Dickens will be served up with a holiday feast in Wigington Hall on Harriet Island in St. Paul.

This beautifully renovated banquet hall will be transformed into Mr Fezziwig's Warehouse at holiday time, with guests welcomed by a roaring fire, hot-spiced cider, Victorian carolers, a seven-course gourmet feast, and a picturesque performance of Dickens' beloved GHOST STORY FOR CHRISTMAS performed by Mr. Fezziwig (Scott Jorgenson) and his staff.

Director/adapter Jon Cranney brings a new twist to this annual Actors Theater holiday hit. The premise of the new staging is that Fezziwig's dear friend Charles Dickens has written a little Christmas ghost story and Fezziwig and his staff decide to act it out at Fezziwig's annual Christmas party. Dickens calls it A CHRISTMAS CARL; Fezziwig calls it, "the most delightful and uplifting story propelled by all of the wonder and joy that is Christmas!"

Cranney writes of the production, "A CHRISTMAS CAROL comes to us in many versions, but nothing is so wonderful at Christmas time as having the story told to us in a setting of celebration of family and good friendship. In Fezziwig's Feast we bring together the elements of the Spirit of Christmas - the celebration, the delicious repast, and the fine fellowship of kind old Fezziwig and his family - and the Story - Mr. Dickens's wonderful ghost story of redemption and compassion for one another."

Feast Tickets are $74.50. Reservations are strongly recommended. Tickets can be purchased through TicketMaster at 800-982-2787 or TicketMaster.com

Wigington Hall is located in the Harriet Island Pavilion and can be accessed from Harriet Island Regional Park's west entrance. There is ample on-site parking available.
