In a battle of beauty versus beauty, things are bound to get ugly. This is the case in Michael Pink’s world premiere ballet, presented by Donna and Donald Baumgartner. A pure young beauty goes up against her sinister seductress of a stepmother. The story is inspired by Snow White. Composer Philip Feeney returns with a new blockbuster score performed live by the Milwaukee Ballet Orchestra. The costumes are inspired by the brilliant Alexander McQueen. The choreography? Simply inspired. With dark, striking set design and beautiful ballerinas, appearances are everything. Which makes Mirror Mirror a must-see.
