The Peck School of the Arts Announces Their Upcoming Events

The Peck School of the Arts is the only school of the arts in the University of Wisconsin system. The disciplines of Dance, Film, Music, Theatre, and Visual Art all present exciting curricula in their respective departments.

April 16 - Unruly Music: Sound and Image, 7:30pm
April 17 - Kenilworth Open Studios: A Celebration of Faculty and Students from the Peck School of the Arts, 11am-2pm
April 17 - Unruly Music: I Am Sitting in a Room, 7:30pm
April 18 - Unruly Music: C2: Made in Milwaukee, 7:30pm

April 19 - UWM Department of Music Guitar Program: Workshop with Guitar Republic, 3-5pm, Greene Hall
A guitar workshop with Pino Forastiere, Sergio Altamura, and Stefano Barone.
$10 general admission at the door

April 20 - UWM Guitar Series Concert: Guitar Republic, 7:30pm, RecitAl Hall
A concert from Guitar Republic, a solo-duo-trio project of Sergio Altamura, Stefano Barone, and Pino Forastiere. $15 general/$9 students, seniors and UWM alumni, faculty & staff

April 23 - UWM Symphony Orchestra, 7:30pm, Bader Concert Hall
The UWM Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Margery Deutsch, welcomes the winners of the UWM Concert & Aria Competition, held in December.
$10 general/$7 students, seniors & UWM alumni, faculty & staff.

April 23 - UWM Experimental Film/Video Series at Woodland Pattern, 7pm, Woodland Pattern Book Center
From the Supernatural Shadows of Hollywood and Here: George Kuchar's Influence on Experimental & Independent Cinema
$4 at the door

April 25 - University-Community Orchestra, 2pm, Bader Concert Hall
UWM orchestra students and community members perform under the direction of Margery Deutsch.
