THE SOUND OF MUSIC to Play WCT, 9/12-28

The Waukesha Civic Theatre presents The Sound of Music, running September 12th to 28th, 2014.

The Classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical brought to life on the Civic stage. Featuring such beloved songs as "Edelweiss" and "My Favorite Things," The Sound of Music tells the triumphant love story of widower Georg Von Trapp and governess Maria Rainer at the dawn of World War II.

The cast includes: Renee Bartos, Jack Burns, Alyssa Casarez, Elena Cramer, Jude Cramer, Michelle De La Matter, Seth Dittmer, Elle Erato, Elizabeth Ewend, Andrew Gratke, Carrie Gray, Thomas Hess, Mara Hoffman, Sydney Johnson, Jessica Kennedy, Philip Klinker, Craig Kurjanski, Marge Kurtz, Stephanie La Chance, Jim Mallmann, Mary Melter, Shannon Messplay, Nicole Morley, Katy Oberle, Noah Parulski, Rachel Ryan, Gwen Ter Haar, Cindy Velcheck, Jim Volden, Matt Welden, and Patty Wilson.

John Cramer is directing and choreographing. The production staff and crew includes: Jason Brinker (Music Director), Sallie Burkard (Costume Designer), Kavyn Custer (Stage Manager), Nick Da Via (Lighting Designer), Keith Handy (Sound Designer), Anthony Mackie (Wig Master) Denise Meagher (Assistant Director), Lynn Piquett (Assistant To The Assistants), Monica Santroch (Properties Designer), Michael Talaska (Scenic Designer/ Master Carpenter), and Debbie Volden (Assistant Stage Manager).

Saturday September 13th: 7:30 pm

Sunday September 14th: 2:00 pm

Friday September 19th: 7:30 pm

Saturday September 20th: 3:30 pm & 7:30 pm

Sunday September 21st: 2:00 pm & 7:30 pm

Thursday September 26th: 7:30 pm

Friday September 26th: 7:30 pm

Saturday September 27th: 2:00 pm & 7:30 pm

Sunday September 28th: 2:00 pm

Tickets for The Sound of Music are $23.00, or $20.00 for students and seniors, or $17.00 for subscribers, groups of ten or more, and members of the military, or $10.00 for educational groups, boy scout groups, and girl scout groups of ten or more.

All tickets may be purchased by mail, phone, e-mail, fax, online, or in person using cash, check, or credit card (credit card only for phone, fax, e-mail, and online sales). We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.

Student Rush tickets are available at half price one hour before curtain of any show. WCT also offers a ?Pay What You Can? promotion for the first Saturday evening performance (7:30 pm), the last Thursday evening performance (7:30 pm), and the last Saturday matinee performance (2:00 p.m.) of a Mainstage series production.
