Soulstice Theatre to Welcome THE EXPLORERS CLUB This November
Soulstice Theatre is thrilled to open its 2015-2016 season with the Wisconsin premiere of THE EXPLORERS CLUB.
The hilarious new comedy from the lyricist of "Legally Blonde: The Musical" takes you inside one of the last bastions of Victorian-era manhood, THE EXPLORERS CLUB, whose members are as dedicated to science in its many (questionable) forms as they are to their evening cigars and brandy. When one of the gentlemen attempts to present a woman as a candidate for membership, the battle lines are drawn. Will it take nothing less than the annihilation of an entire primitive culture to save the Club, the country, and the Crown? Misguided expeditions, deleterious salutations, savage natives, native savages, and copious libations abound in this uproarious comedy.
Directed by Soulstice Theatre's Artistic Director, Jillian Smith, the cast features the brilliant comedic talents of Bryan Quinn, Matthew J. Patten, Al Oldham, Joe Krapf, Phil Stepanski, David Ferrie, David Sapiro, Bob Zimmerman, and the one and only Amber Smith as the woman who upsets the ever-so-delicate balance.
Performances are November 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, and 21 at 7:30, with a matinee at 2:00 on Sunday, November 15. Tickets are $20 for adults, and $18 for students, seniors, and military. Get yours today at www.soulsticetheatre.org or by calling 414-481-2800.
