IN: SITE Digital Billboard Art Month
October 1-10
The organization IN:SITE has been fostering temporary public art in Milwaukee since 2006. They asked a number of art institutions throughout the city to participate in this project. INOVA will be represented by images from artists Lane Hall and Lisa Moline. Watch for images on various digital billboards throughout Milwaukee at random times throughout the day. FREE. A devised theatre piece created by, about, and for UWM students. Mil-Wonky Style is a portrayal of the ups and downs of college life. Get ready for an honest, unconventional and personal view of the Milwaukee student experience including parties, music, part-time jobs, strange landlords, drinking, sex, quirky professors, and...oh yeah! Unruly Music explores contemporary trends in chamber music, improvisation, electronic sound and multimedia, spanning a wide variety of genres and styles. Guest artists include Marilyn Nonken, solo piano recital (Thursday); Lisa Cella, solo flute recital (Friday); and Lou Bunk and Hal Rammel (Saturday).
