The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis embarks on a three-week 2011 Fall Tour throughout the U.S. and makes a stop at the Marcus Center's Uihlein Hall on Tuesday, October 4 at 7:30 p.m. This performance is presented by the Marcus Center as part of the Marcus Center Presents Series. Tickets go on sale on Friday, August 26 at 12:00 p.m. at the Marcus Center Box Office.

Under Wynton Marsalis' direction, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JLCO) performs repertoire across the full jazz spectrum - from the music's New Orleans roots to bebop and modern jazz. By creating and performing an expansive range of brilliant new music for quartets, big bands, chamber music ensembles, symphony orchestras, tap dance and ballet, Marsalis has expanded the vocabulary for jazz and created a vital body of work that places him among the world's finest musicians and composers. To celebrate Marsalis' 50th birthday, the JLCO will showcase the vast array of musical compositions for big band.

The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis will be at the Marcus Center on Tuesday, October 4 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale Friday, August 26th at 12:00 p.m. at the Marcus Center Box Office.
