Boulevard Theatre adds an additional performance on May 6th at 7:30 pm for its previously sold-out show, IT'S YOUR MOTHER!. Patricia Durante's and Betsy Tuxill's comedy IT'S YOUR MOTHER! explores the "Mother Versus Daughter" dynamic through a series of scenes and monologues. Patrons who wish to see the show should call the Boulevard Theatre's voice mail at (414) 744-5757. The show closes May 9th without a chance of an extension.

IT'S YOUR MOTHER! explores the tensions inherent in the relationship between mothers and daughters with issues such as a daughter returning home from college, planning a wedding, and how to raise children. Cast members who have appeared or currently appear are Marion Araujo, Leea Glasheen, Lisa Golda, Nicole Gorski, Christine Horgen, Melissa Keith, Jenny Kostreva, Rachel Lewandowski, SAndy Lewis, Shannon Nettesheim, Shemagne O'Keefe, Michael Tyburski, Barbara Weber, Brooke Wegner, as well as several guest actresses.

After selling out and being extended in its New York premiere at The Manhattan Repertory Theatre in July of 2009, the show makes its Midwest premiere at the Boulevard Theatre. But the play has roots in Milwaukee. Actress/playwright Patricia Durante lived in Milwaukee for several years and performed with the Skylight Theatre, First Stage Theatre and previously with the Boulevard. Ms. Tuxill is an established and respected educator on the East Coast.

Boulevard Artistic Director Mark Bucher directs this exciting new work which celebrates the female experience while championing artistic opportunities for female playwrights and actresses. While many of the shows are considered sold-out, please call the theatre to see if any seats became available at the last minute.The remaining shows are Saturdays, May 1st at 8 pm, and May 8th at 4 and 8 pm; Sundays, May 2nd and 9th at 2:30 pm; Thursday, May 6th at 7:30 pm; and Friday, May 7th at 8 pm. Ticket prices are $20, payable by cash or check only.
