Experience the ever-relevant brilliance of West Side Story, the multi-award-winning musical that will take center stage at Interlochen Arts Camp this summer.
In the heart of 1950s New York City, the iconic rivalry between the Jets and the Sharks threatens to tear the city apart. Amidst the chaos, two young lovers defy the odds, caught between their dreams and the harsh realities of a world filled with hate and prejudice. With unforgettable songs like “I Feel Pretty,” “I Want to be in America,” and “Maria,” West Side Story delivers a gripping blend of passion, betrayal, and hope.
West Side Story transforms Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet tragedy into a modern musical masterpiece that still speaks powerfully to our world today. Experience why this groundbreaking work remains one of the most revolutionary and heart-wrenching productions in theatre history, where love struggles to survive and hope dares to rise against impossible odds.
