“No day but today!” Set in the East Village of New York City, Rent is about falling in love, finding your voice and living for today.
This Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning rock musical follows a year in the life of a group of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create under the shadow of HIV/AIDS. Even amidst their hardships which challenge the group physically and emotionally, they face the problems head on, making personal self-discoveries and finding what really matters most in life. With songs that electrify and a story that resonates with audiences of all ages, Rent is edgy, exuberant, passionate and joyous with its theme of love striving to endure beyond all obstacles. Songs include “Seasons of Love,” “Take Me or Leave Me” and “Out Tonight.”
