December 4-7, Birmingham Village Players (BVP) is proud to present the world premiere of a brand-new version of the timeless holiday favorite, Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol."
In this production, Dickens is touring the United States presenting readings of his ghostly tale about Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim, and discovering the meaning of Christmas. During the reading, Dickens, played by well-known local actor Edmond Guay, brings to life over 25 of his famous characters.
The one-man show, An Evening with Charles Dickens and A Christmas Carol, will be presented four days only - December 4-7, 2025 - as a fundraiser for Birmingham Village Players. With money for the arts slashed, this production will help BVP continue to provide amazing theatrical experiences to the local community.
Individual reserved tickets are $30 (includes ticketing fee). Tickets can be purchased by calling the box office, 248-644-2075, or by placing an order on the website, www.birminghamvillageplayers.com. Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows begin at 7:30PM. Sunday matinees start at 2PM.
