Wild Swan Theater Seeking Actors for 38th Season

Wild Swan is a professional, non-equity theater company that produces and performs productions geared for family audiences. The company gives 175 performances a year in its home base of Ann Arbor and on tour throughout the state.
Little Women Auditions will be held Monday, August 21st from 10am - 12pm at Wild Swan Theater (6175 Jackson Rd - Ann Arbor)
AND
Season Auditions will be held Tuesday, August 22nd from 11am - 1pm at the Arab American National Museum (13624 Michigan Ave - Dearborn)
Additional Season Auditions will be held at Wild Swan Theater:
Monday, September 25th from 10am - 12pm
Tuesday, September 26th from 10am - 12pm
Seeking/Roles Available: Actors will be considered for roles in four productions: our original version of the classic Little Women (performance dates December 7 - 10, 2017), a beautiful play which tells the story of a young Japanese girl's experience after the bombing of Hiroshima, A Thousand Cranes (performance dates March 8 - 10, 2018), our touring production A Honey Pot of Pooh Stories (performance dates March 12 - 17, 2018 + touring dates), and our original musical version of The Wizard of Oz (performance dates May 2 - 6, 2018), as well as positions with our touring company. We are especially interested in culturally diverse casting with all of our productions.
PLEASE NOTE: Daytime availability is a must as we rehearse (generally 10am - 1pm or 1 - 4pm) and perform during the day.

Audition Preparation: 1 comedic monologue (2 minutes max.); 16 bars of a song of your choosing (will be sung a capella-no accompanist will be provided); please bring a current headshot and resume.
Salary/Pay Rate: $75/performance
Rehearsal Information: We generally rehearse 3 times a week for about 6 weeks prior to the opening of a show.
Performance Dates: Varies - our season performance times can be found on our website: http://www.wildswantheater.org/on-stage/. Touring dates and times will be cleared with all of the actors and interpreters before they are booked with the presenter.
