Tickets on Sale Now for The Drifters Live at Meadow Brook Theatre
Musical legends, The Drifters, perform live at Meadow Brook Theatre on July 14, 2018 for the 4th Annual Concert & Cuisine benefit event. This year's event, Under the Boardwalk, will feature a Boardwalk theme to set the tone for The Drifters' famous repertoire of hits.
Tickets are on sale now for this one-of-a-kind event featuring a pre-glow party with strolling cuisine, drinks, and silent auction followed by a concert. All proceeds benefit Meadow Brook Theatre, Michigan's largest producing professional theatre, and a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
The Drifters have been making music for 60 years. Today the group represents a story of success and musical greatness. The Drifters are regarded as one of early Rock and Roll's super groups and charted with megahits like "Under the Boardwalk," "On Broadway," "Stand By Me," "Up On The Roof," and "This Magic Moment." Rolling Stone Magazine ranks The Drifters number 81 on their 100 greatest artists of all time. The Drifters have been inducted into both The Rock and Roll and the Vocal Group Halls of Fame.
Pre-concert reception begins at 6 p.m. Beach party attire is encouraged. Wear a summer dress, summer suit or shorts and flip flops, and enjoy strolling the Meadow Brook Theatre 'Boardwalk' and a rockin' concert!
The Drifters live at Concert & Cuisine will be held at Meadow Brook Theatre. Tickets Range from $85 to $125. All proceeds benefit the theatre. Tickets can be purchased by calling 248-377-3300, online at Ticketmaster.com or in person at the Meadow Brook Theatre box office.
