A new season fit for a new stage. After undergoing a cosmetic overhaul-from lobby to stage and beyond-The Ringwald Theatre is thrilled to announce the lineup for its twelfth season.
Beginning with a 20th anniversary presentation of The Laramie Project and ending with an unforgettable production of recent Broadway sensation Fun Home, The Ringwald's year 12 carries on the tradition of
producing compelling LGBT works-and offers the delicious variety and genre-hopping surprises that have also become a Ringwald hallmark. An all-new fully staged version of the movie Clue? Yep. A timely take on the absurdly political battle of gay wedding cakes? Oh, we got that. A Joan Crawford Christmas? Check! A fresh spin on an Arthur Miller masterpiece? ATTENTION MUST BE PAID!

The Laramie Project

In honor of Matthew Shepard, twenty years after his murder, The Ringwald presents a one-weekend engagement of this landmark play. Members of the Tectonic Theater Project made six trips to Laramie over the course of a year and a half, in the aftermath of the murder and during the trial of the two young men accused of killing Shepard. They conducted more than 200 interviews with the people of the town. The Laramie Project is a breathtaking collage that explores the depths to which humanity can sink and
the heights of compassion of which we are capable.
