The Mitten Theater to Premiere Christmas Murder Mystery THE KNIFE BEFORE CHRISTMAS Image

The Mitten Theater is thrilled to host the premiere of their Murder at the Mitten series: The Knife Before Christmas. This original murder mystery production runs at the Mitten Theater December 15 and December 22, 2017. Tickets are on sale now.

You are cordially invited to the Opening Night party of the Christmas season! There will be presents, food, and cheer for all, as Santa and his helpers prepare for the long month ahead. But, be warned: This year... MURDER is coming to town...

The Mitten Theater will present their first murder mystery: The Knife Before Christmas. It's up to the audience to pay attention as the story unfolds. However, they'll also have to interact with the cast to discover what really happened. No stone can be left unturned if this crime will be solved. Will Christmas be saved? Will the killer be put on the naughty list? Better make a list of clues...and check it twice.

The Mitten Theater's production of The Knife Before Christmas is directed by Tom Kollenberg. The cast includes Tom Kollenberg, Emily Clark, Coleen Downey, Tim Lally, and Vince Sabatini as Santa Clause. The Knife Before Christmas was written by Tom Kollenberg and Vince Sabatini.

Tickets can be purchased online at theknifebeforechristmas.brownpapertickets.com. Tickets are $45, but early bird tickets are available for $40 while supplies last. $50.at the door. Ticket price includes a strolling hot and cold hors d'oeuvre and dessert buffet. Food may be limited for non-reserved tickets; door ticket prices will be reduced to $25 in this case. A $50 prize will be given to the best detective of the night. Doors open at 7 PM, and the show starts promptly at 730 PM. Admittance will not be granted once the show begins. Show is rated PG-13. This production is not appropriate for children. Contains coarse language, sexual innuendo, mythical creatures, scenes of violence (including an extended death scene), and singing.

THE KNIFE BEFORE CHRISTMAS runs December 15 and December 22, playing Fridays, doors at 7:00 p.m. show begins promptly at 7:30 p.m. The Mitten Theater is located inside of PARC (Plymouth Arts and Recreation Complex), Plymouth Arts & Recreation Complex, 650 Church St., Plymouth, MI 48170. Parking is available in the lot behind PARC, which is where the theater entrance is located.

The Mitten Theater is Plymouth's home for improvised comedic theater. They offer the area's only weekly live performances for children of all ages. Anticipated future growth will offer: expanded showtimes and performance types, opportunities for private gatherings before and after the shows, and appearances by our players at private events and various workshops.
