THE FULL MONTY Continues at The Sauk

Performances of the Tony-nominated musical "'The Full Monty" continue this weekend at The Sauk in Jonesville.

Based on the hit film of the same name, "The Full Monty" is filled with honest affection, engaging melodies and the most anticipated closing number in Sauk history. While spying on their wives at a "Girl's Night Out," a group of unemployed steelworkers come up with a bold way to make some quick cash. In preparing, they find themselves extremely exposed both physically and emotionally. As they conquer their self-consciousness and provide for their families, the men come to discover that they're stronger as a group and the strength they find in each other gives them the individual courage to "let it go."

The Sauk production stars Wyatt Huggett as Jerry, Jordan Hayes as Dave, Joe Weatherwax as Malcolm, Travis Blatchley as Harold, Brock Hayes as Ethan, Deb Lemke as Jeanette, Savannah Mapes as Georgie, Kary Swiontek as Vicki, AbbiGail Nelson as Estelle, Jacob Lee as Keno, Christina McKim as Pam, Nate Baker as Teddy and Landen Clabaugh as Nathan. Guest artist Zachary Myers portrays Horse. The cast also includes Mitch Butler, David Gilman, Jennifer Giron, Jonah Houtz, Kevin Lemke, Kaitlyn Ludeker, Holli Slamka.

The production is directed by Trinity Bird with musical direction by Kristi Gautsche and choreography by Jan Mackie. The design team includes Bruce Crews (sets), Kristin Hood (lights), Geremy Burns (sound), Blatchley (props) and Patty Spence (costumes). Gay Shaw is vocal coach and Michele Harmon is stage manager.

Performances are at 8 p.m. on August 17, 18 and 19 with a 3 p.m. matinee on August 20. All performances will take place at the Sauk Theatre, 240 E. Chicago St. in Jonesville. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors (55 and up) and students (with a valid i.d.) and $8 for children (12 and under). Tickets can be purchased at www.thesauk.org or by calling 517-849-9100.
