Slipstream Theatre Initiative is THRILLED to present the 5th show of its season, Hamlet. All-female, of course. This production will open Sunday, May 10th (Mother's Day) and run Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays through June 7th. Slipstream takes its first leap into "immersive theatre" with this version of Shakespeare's classic. Utilizing some of the area's most innovative young female actors, the play is presented in a stripped down, amped up way; blurring the lines of reality for the audience and the actors/inmates/characters. The theme of being driven to suicide is throughout the text and because of this, Slipstream is pairing with the Trevor Project for this show. The Trevor Project provides help for any LGBTQ youth experiencing suicidal thoughts and intentions, and puts them on the path to stability.

The cast features Luna Alexander in the title role, as well as Egla Kishta, Laura Heikkinen, Kez Settle, Kaitlyn Valor Bourque, Victoria Rose Weatherspoon, Kazzy Skoretz, Maya Gangadharan and Jennifer Jolliffe. This production is Co-Directed by Bailey Boudreau and Steve Xander Carson. Costumes by Bailey Boudreau. Violence coordination and fight choreography by Steve Xander Carson. Technical Design and execution by Ryan Ernst.

The play is presented with an intermission at Slipstream's Summer Home: 20397 John R. Road in Hazel Park. All tickets are $10 IN ADVANCE ONLY and all performances are at 7:00 pm. SEATING IS LIMITED AND NO WALK-INS WILL BE PERMITTED. Reserve tickets at www.SlipstreamTI.com.
