Slipstream Presents Season 4 Fundraiser

Four years ago, Slipstream Theatre Initiative came into view with a very sparse but hopeful production of Shakespeare's "The Winter's Tale". Now, after 24 full scale productions, the company emerges for its fourth season. Pulling a new card from its deck, the young company ventures into original devised works, classics, and a musical...or two.

Join the festivities as Slipstream welcomes a new year and a new season. On Saturday, December 16th, the company will host a fundraiser and season preview at their theater at 460 Hilton in Ferndale. There is no admission charge and there will be food and drink a-plenty.

And enjoy the night as Luna Alexander and Dan Johnson take the stage with a "Tale from the Mitten". Say hello to our newest company members Torri Lynne Frances and Manning Goldman, as they show us their Othello and RuPaul, respectively. Give a hand to Mandy Logsdon as she presents a piece from her directorial debut of "Tartuffe". Watch company "heart-throb" Steve Xander Carson start the show with a number that'll blow your socks off! And of course, be ready to melt into Victoria Rose Weatherspoon's silky smooth jazz stylings as she performs a number from "Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill".

And, of course, be ready for some strange and wonderful surprises. It wouldn't be Slipstream without some twists and turns. Tis the season to enjoy and support local theatre. Join Slipstream in celebrating not just their new season, but the enormous amount of talent and art that the theatre community has to offer.

Email InsideTheSlipstream@gmail.com for more information, and we'll see you on the 16th!
