Ride the Q Line This Weekend!
Detroit Public Television (DPTV) is proud to be a part of today's exciting launch of the QLINE and has produced a fifteen-minute video loop that plays at the twelve stations on the route, for passengers to enjoy as they wait for the sleek red-and-white streetcars to arrive.
If you haven't hit the city for a ride year, watch the video here: http://bit.ly/2q9Ccyf
The QLINE travels 3.3 miles along lower Woodward, through the heart of revitalized Detroit. Someday, people are hoping it extend farther, connecting the neighborhoods and even the suburbs to this these thriving areas. At least, that's the plan.
At DPTV, we also have a plan - our One Detroit initiative, through which we connect the stories of 4 million people, starting in the communities of the city and reaching outward.
The individuals and organizations behind the QLINE herald it as a model for regional collaboration. At DPTV, we are all about collaboration and we are happy to be part of the team.
