Photo Flash: Sneak Peek at Cindy Williams in MOM'S GIFT at Meadow Brook Theatre

By:
Television comedy icon Cindy Williams returns to Meadow Brook Theatre to star in the heartwarming comedy "Mom's Gift." Williams plays Peggy Swenson, a mom on a mission. She's showed up to her husband's birthday party, which is slightly strange since she's been dead for 11 months. Just like that famous angel, Clarence, in "It's a Wonderful Life," Peggy needs to accomplish a special task to earn her wings. If she only knew exactly what that special task was. There are just so many things to fix! Can she get them all done before time runs out?

"Mom's Gift," written by Phil Olson, runs January 4 through January 29, 2017, at Meadow Brook Theatre on the campus of Oakland University in Rochester. BroadwayWorld has a sneak peek at Williams and co-star Dani Cochrane in character below!

Cindy Williams, best known as Shirley Feeney from the classic, television sitcom "Laverne and Shirley," has had a distinguished career in TV and film. "Mom's Gift" marks her fourth visit to Meadow Brook Theatre.

Williams is joined by Mark Rademacher as Jack Swenson (Dad), Dani Cochrane as Kat Swenson, and Franny Kromminga as Brittany Swenson. Rounding out the cast are Monica J. Palmer (Trish and Mrs. Norquist) and Tyrick Wiltez Jones (Kevin Reese).

"Mom's Gift" is directed by Travis W. Walter. Terry Carpenter is the stage manager, with set design by Kristin Gribbin, costumes by Karen Kangas-Preston, lighting by Reid G. Johnson and sound by Mike Duncan.

Tickets range from $27 to $42 and are available by calling the Meadow Brook Theatre box office at 248-377-3300 or going online at www.ticketmaster.com. Student discounts are available at the box office. Groups of eight or more should call 248-370-3316 for group pricing.

Meadow Brook Theatre is located on the campus of Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. For additional information, visit www.mbtheatre.com or call 248-377-3300. Meadow Brook Theatre is a nonprofit, cultural institution serving southeast Michigan for 50 years.
