Who says that you can't trust anyone over 30? Now that Performance Network has reached this landmark of wisdom and maturity, the theatre wants all of its friends from the last 30 years to join in the celebration. And to make this happen, the theatre is holding a mega rollback sale for three days only. Beginning Monday, October 10 and running through Wednesday, October 12, tickets for "Time Stands Still" will be available for the prices the theater charged at its inception 30 years ago - just $9 a piece.

Marketing Director Chelsea Sadler said "the earliest documentation that we found shows that ticket prices in the 80s were just $9. If anyone can prove that tickets were available for less, such as with an old ticket stub from a scrapbook, or a poster of show they acted in, we'd be happy to honor that price."

With "Time Stands Still" tickets usually selling between $25 and $41, this rollback sale features tickets available at a whopping 78% off! But the sale will only last for three days, after which ticket prices will return to normal.

Executive Director Carla Milarch said "As a community supported organization, we've been looking for a way to give a little back in honor of our anniversary. We think that offering a critically acclaimed drama, hot from New York, at the price audiences paid 30 years ago is the perfect way."

"Time Stands Still" has been called "an excellent night of theatre," "heartwrenchingly powerful" and "especially compelling" by local theatre critics.

This drama follows Sarah and James, whose lives are on fire with a passionate romance and two hot careers as war journalists in Iraq. But when Sarah is injured in a bombing and a shocking betrayal is revealed, the fabric of their relationship begins to unravel over thorny ethical questions. Grounded in the couple's Brooklyn loft while Sarah heals, they must discover how to move forward, or risk "standing still" forever. Courageous and intelligently funny, this Tony-nominated drama asks the questions that thinking people face today: When does documenting a tragedy become exploiting it? What personal responsibility do we bear when faced with the suffering of others? Is it okay to ignore the misery in the world, in order to have a joyful life? Hot from its Tony-nominated run on Broadway, this riveting play comes exclusively to Performance Network for its Michigan Premiere.

"Time Stands Still" runs through October 23. Tickets are available by calling 734-663-0681, at www.performancenetwork.org, or by visiting the box office at 120 E. Huron St., Ann Arbor. Box office hours are 11am-6pm, Monday through Saturday. "Time Stands Still" is appropriate for ages 15+.
