The Purple Rose Theatre Company will present Jeff Daniels' Onstage & Unplugged for a limited ten show engagement from Tuesday, December 21 through Friday, December 31, 2010. (Editors' Note: Please find a full performance / pricing schedule below). All performances will be at The Purple Rose Theatre Company, 137 Park Street, Chelsea, MI 48118.

The annual holiday concert is now in its tenth year on the PRTC stage. A prolific songwriter as well as playwright, Daniels (PRTC Executive Director and Founder) performs an arsenal of songs that are alternately humorous and poignant. Daniels tours nationally, but most intensively in Michigan, his home state. Recently returned from appearances ranging from Alaska to Florida and everywhere in between, Daniels says it's important to him that he continue to perform on his home stage each year.

This year's line-up may feature surprise guest performers and will include old favorites as well as songs from Daniels' most recent CD release, Jeff Daniels Live at the Purple Rose. His first album, Jeff Daniels Live and Unplugged, was recorded in 2001 during the original PRTC concert that sparked both the tradition and the tour.

Sales from these and Daniels' other critically acclaimed albums - Grandfather's Hat and Together Again with Jonathan Hogan - benefit The Purple Rose Theatre Company and are available at the PRTC Box Office. CDs and information about Daniels' national tour are also available online at JeffDaniels.com.

Founded in 1991, The Purple Rose Theatre Company is dedicated to producing the new American play and creating opportunities for Midwest theatre professionals.
