Olympia Entertainment Brings Frankie Valli, Tyler Perry et al. to Detroit this Summer

Detroit's Olympia Entertainment announced it's spring and summer line-up featuring comedians, family entertainment and concerts.  The season kicks of April 16 with three shows, including King of the Cage at Cobo Arena (301 Civic Center Drive); Dennis Edwards and The Temptations Review Event at the Fox Theatre (2211 Woodward Avenue); and Frankie Valli and the Four Season at the Sound Board (2901 Grand River). Additional highlighs include Jerry Seinfield on April 17;  Tyler Perry's "Madea's Big Happy Family" May 6-15; Diana Ross "More Today Than Yesterday Tour" with a live symphony orchestra on May 29; Andre Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra on June 27; Cyndi Lauper will perform on July 1 and on October 8th The Pointer Sister.

Nickelodeon Presents Storytime LIVE! at the Fox Theatre April 23-25. Showtimes are Friday, April 23 at 7:00 p.m; Saturday, April 24 a 11:00am; 2:00pm and 5:00pm; and Sunday at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. Tyler Perry's "Madea's Big Happy Family" will be at the Fox Theatre May 6-9. Showtimes are 8:00 p.m. on Friday; 2:00 & 8:00 pm on Saturday; Sunday at 3:00pm & 7:30pm. Tickets start at $45 and go up to $68 and are available at ticketmaster.com. Special group rates of 20 or more are available by phone at (313) 471-3099.

The Moody Blues will be at the Fox Theatre Friday, June 18 at 8 p.m.. Tickets are $48, $58, $68 and $78 and available at ticketmaster.com.

Vans Warped Tour will be at Comerica Park (2100 Woodward Avenue) July 30 starting at Noon. Tickets $33 in advanced and $36 day of show. On Sale at ticketmaster.com.

Slayer and Megadeth "American Carnage North American Tour" wsg Testament will be at Cobo Arena (301 Civic Center Drive) on Thursday, August 19 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets prices are $10, $29.50 and $39.50 reserved. On Sale at ticketmaster.com.

Comedian Paul Rodriguez will be at the Sound Board (2901 Grand River Avenue) on October 1 at 8:00 p.m. Ticket prices are $38.00 and $48.00 reserved on sale now at ticketmaster.com.
