Mid-Michigan's Williamston Theatre Ends Season With THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (Abridged), Runs Thru 8/9

Mid-Michigan's newest professional theatre company, the Williamston Theatre, finishes off its 2008-2009 Season with The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), which willrun Thursday, July 2 - Sunday, August 9. Tickets are now on sale.

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) is a co-production with the Tipping Point Theatre in Northville. The show ran in Northville prior to coming to Williamston,therefore there will only be one Preview performance, Thursday, July 2. The Official OpeningNight is Friday, July 3.

Performances will run Thursday and Friday evenings at eight o'clock,Saturday matinees at three o'clock and evenings at eight o'clock and Sunday matinees at two o'clock. Please note there will not be a three o'clock performance on Saturday, July 4.

Think you know Shakespeare? The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), written by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield, is a hilarious insight in to whatShakespeare is really talking about. Three talented actors will take the audience on a laugh-a-minute romp through all of Shakespeare's work - yes, ALL of it - in less than two hours!!The cast consists of Aral Gribble (Every Christmas Story Ever Told!!, Fully Committed, HateMail), Keith Kalinowski (Panache) and Kevin T. Young. The show was directed byWilliamston Theatre's Artistic Director, Tony Caselli (Leaving Iowa, Every Christmas StoryEver Told!!, Hate Mail).

The production team includes set and lights by Daniel C. Walker(Flyover, USA, Every Christmas Story Ever Told!!, Maidens, Mothers and Crones), costumesby Amber Marisa Cook, sound by Karin Pearson and props by Jennifer Steger. The StageManager is Erin K. Snyder.Tickets are Pay-What-You-Can for Thursday, July 2. Regular ticket prices for the rest of the runare $24.00 on Friday and Saturday evenings, $20.00 on weekend matinees and $18.00 onThursday evenings.
