3:30 PM at the MICHIGAN THEATER, ANN ARBOR
This screening of the DETROIT VOICES SHORT FILM COMPETITION entries features a range of unique stories from southeast Michigan filmmakers.

THE YELLOW TICKET
5 PM at the DETROIT FILM THEATRE, DETROIT
Join us for a special screening of this pivotal 1918 German/Polish silent film, featuring live musical accompaniment by ALICIA SVEGALS (violin) andMARILYN LERNER (piano). Special thanks to our community partners Jewish Community Center of Greater Ann Arbor and the Jewish Federation of Greater Ann Arbor.

DINNER WITH DETROIT SOUP
6 PM at the JAM HANDY BUILDING, DETROIT
DETROIT SOUP is a monthly dinner funding micro-grants for creative projects in Detroit. Come experience this new trend in social justice organizing and wrap up the festival weekend with dinner, conversation, and an investment in the future of Detroit. Learn more at detroitsoup.com. Plus, watch a selection of JAM HANDY short films, produced for GM in the 1930s-40s, in their native habitat - the Jam Handy Building! Admission: $5 for soup, salad and a vote.

Academy Award-winning screenwriter DUSTIN LANCE BLACK will conduct an audience Q&A after a screening of this new gay rights documentary.
