L'Renee to Open for Gladys Knight at DIVAS NIGHT OUT at The Fox Theatre, 6/7
Detroit's own R&B/Soul Vocalist, L'Renee, will take the stage at the 'Divas Night Out' show, starring Gladys Knight with Ledisi at the FOX Theatre in Detroit this Friday, June 7 at 8:00pm. Tickets are available at the FOX Theatre Box Office and at Ticketmaster.com.
L'Renee, one of Detroit's most powerful and unforgettable voices, arrived on the music scene in 2005, and has held a strong presence on the local music scene ever since. The Detroit native has written more than 40 songs and has produced and independently released seven albums. She has performed alongside Motown Artist KEM as a background vocalist since 2011, and as a result, has shared the stage with Jill Scott, Trey Songz, Mary J. Blige, Fantasia, Dwele and Ledisi to name a few.
"I'm absolutely thrilled about the opportunity to perform this weekend on the same stage of one of my all-time favorite artists," said L'Renee. "Gladys Knight is such an icon and an inspiration to me - and it's mind-blowing, and also a bit overwhelming, to think that I'll be opening a show for her in a few days in my hometown."
