The Detroit Opera House presents Giuseppe Verdi's RIGOLETTO, May 14 through 22.
RIGOLETTO is an opera in three acts. The Italian libretto was written by Francesco Maria Piave based on the play 'Le roi s'amuse' by Victor Hugo. It premiered in Venice in 1851.
Running time for RIGOLETTO is 2 hours and 30 minutes. The Opera is sung in Italian with English translation projected above the stage.
