C2C Gallery Presents Art Exhibit, Artist Talk And Live Music

On Friday, April 7th, C2C Gallery in Grand Haven is hosting an Artist Talk with two internationally recognized artists as part of their First Fridays series. Artists Mark Chatterley and Mark Mehaffey along with Cindy Bender, C2C Gallery's Featured Artist and renowned Watercolor Painter, will be sharing their thoughts on being an artist, living a creative life, and more.

Live music by Nick Kraus and Miss Kathleen begins at 6pm.

Since opening in 2011, C2C has hosted free local music and artist receptions during their First Friday events. The gallery prominently features more than 35 acclaimed artisans in ceramics, photography, paintings, hand blown glass, hand fabricated silver jewelry, hand painted scarves, wood sculpture, and textiles.

Artist Bios

Cindy Bender is a retired teacher who is now a full time painter. She works in watercolor and focuses on local scenery, people, and her love of travel.

Mark Chatterley is an internationally recognized sculptor who creates larger than life ceramic figures that can make you wonder what he is reading or dreaming. Mark's sculptures are held in private and public collections all over the USA and in other countries.

Mark Mehaffey is also a retired teacher who has always practiced his craft, painting. He has been a full time artist and workshop leader for many years. Mark's paintings are held in collections both private and public all over the world.
