Not every high schooler can say that his high school production was directed by a former cast member of the show. But for Saugatuck High School, the students are getting the opportunity of a lifetime.

Former actor and LES MISERABLES cast member Tom Zemon has been set to direct the production at the high school this spring according to WZZM. Zemon has been living in Saugatuck for nearly four years following roles on Broadway and television, including Gossip Girl and Law & Order.

Zemon told WZZM that working with the students has been very rewarding, "I like to think of them as The Broadway Stars of Tomorrow. I've worked with these kids for several years now and watched them grow and truly blossom, not only as it relates to their skill as actors but in terms of their personal growth as well. It's tremendously satisfying work."
