Aretha Franklin Comes to the Fox Theatre, 6/22

The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, will perform at Detroit's historic Fox Theatre on Friday, June 22 at 8 p.m.

Tickets ($35.50, $45.50 and $75) go on sale Friday, May 4 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at OlympiaEntertainment.com, The Fox Theatre and Joe Louis Arena box offices, Hockeytown Authentics in Troy (without service charge) at all Ticketmaster locations and Ticketmaster.com. Franklin is a cultural icon and multi-award winning artist with dozens of chart-topping records and timeless classics hits such as "Respect", "Chain Of Fools", "Think", "Daydreaming" and "Free Of Love". Franklin has been the recipient of a 2005 Presidential Medal Of Freedom honor (the U.S.A.'s highest honor), 17 Grammy Awards (and counting), a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and a Grammy Living Legend Award.
