The Off-Broadway sensation “Dragged Diznee" will make its Fort Lauderdale debut at Aquaplex Fort Lauderdale (1421 East Oakland Park Blvd.) for one night only on Tuesday, March 18, at 8 p.m. (doors open at 7 p.m.). The show ran for 12 years in New York City and traveled to Fire Island, Philadelphia, Key West, and even Disneyland for Gay Days. The cast features a talented roster of entertainers including show host Holly Dae along with Fifi DuBois, Androgyny and Inita D who will offer a unique twist on beloved Disney characters.

Given the combination of dragDisney, and a bit of "distorted" fun, the show will feature some creative reinterpretations of classic Disney characters in a way that blends humor, camp, and fierce performances. Expect over-the-top looks, catchy remixes of iconic Disney songs, and lots of surprises!

Aquaplex Fort Lauderdale (formerly Lips Fort Lauderdale) is going strong following recent exciting updates. The show palace interior features a modern Key West casual environment with an ocean-inspired epoxy floor, an expanded stage and a state-of-the-art LED Jumbotron wall. Digital screens throughout the venue are accompanied by concert-quality surround sound and an amplified stage lighting program to enhance the show experience.

The bar features a variety of signature craft cocktails and premium liquor offerings with new featured wines, Champagne and other specialty spirits. The mouthwatering food menu offers a variety of delicious new appetizers, entrees and desserts.

Aquaplex Fort Lauderdale is open six nights a week plus weekend brunches. The entertainment venue is the perfect place to celebrate any occasion with the ever-popular cast, including beloved show hostesses Amanda Austin, Daisy Deadpetals, Nicolette, London Adour, Velvet Lenore and Tlo Ivy.

General admission for “Dragged Diznee” is $25 and a VIP experience is $35. Appetizers and drink options will be available. Ticket pricing excludes tax and gratuity. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling (954) 567-0987 or visiting aquaplexftl.com or opentable.com.
