Palm Beach Dramaworks will present Lectures on the Life of Souvenir's Florence Foster Jenkins July 7 & 8th
West Palm Beach's only resident professional theatre, Palm Beach Dramaworks will present lectures on the life story and musical career of Florence Foster Jenkins.
This wealthy New York society eccentric of the 30's and 40's and the subject of Stephen Temperley's play with music "Souvenir," will be discussed on Monday, July 7th and Tuesday, July 8th (7:30PM) at the intimate downtown Studio Theatre (322 Banyan Boulevard.)
Hosted by Palm Beach Dramaworks' Resident Director and "Souvenir" stager J. Barry Lewis, the evenings will feature interesting biographical information and rarely seen film clips. All tickets are $10 but due to limited space, reservations are necessary. Palm Beach Dramaworks is located in the heart of downtown West Palm Beach, at 322 Banyan Boulevard, between Dixie Highway and Olive Avenue, Florida 33401. Parking is offered across the street for a nominal fee, or in the City Garage on the corner of Olive Avenue and Banyan Boulevard for $1.00 per hour with the first hour free.
