'The Gazillionaire' Open Call Auditions In Miami Beach
"THE GAZILLIONAIRE," DIRECT FROM SENSATIONAL GUEST APPEARANCE AT NEW YORK'S HIT SHOW SPIEGELWORLD, TO HOLD OPEN CALL AUDITIONS, MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 11 A.M. AT MIAMI BEACH'S RALEIGH HOTEL FOR "THE GAZILLIONAIRE LATE NITE LOUNGE," OPENING JANUARY 3 AS SECOND SHOW ADDED TO DECEMBER 20-FEBRUARY 17 RUN OF "ABSINTHE" AT COLLINS PARK'S SPIEGELGARDEN
MIAMI BEACH---Anticipated to be one of the most unusual open auditions ever held in South Florida (and conceivably in the entire U.S.), the call is out for all comers to show up for an opportunity to be cast in "The Gazillionaire Late Night Lounge," a raunchy, improvised cabaret show, featuring live music scheduled to open as a second on site live entertainment nitery complementing the earlier announced "Absinthe," which will preview, Thursday, December 20, with the official opening night announced for Saturday, December 26 at Collins Park, 22nd Street and Collins Avenue.
Scheduled for Monday, 11 A.M. in the Penthouse of the Raleigh Hotel, 1775 Collins Avenue, flying in to oversee the auditions are SPIEGELWORLD producer Ross Mollison, the Gazillionaire himself, Voki Kalfayan, who is currently the Master of Ceremonies of New York's "Absinthe," and his assistant Annais. A former Cirque du Soleil clown whose international appearances from Ringling Brothers Circus in U.S. to the Wallendas Circus in Japan to the Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago has challenged the borders of comedy..and propriety, Kalfayan will be creating the show for "The Gazillionaire Late Nite Lounge." Providing the live music will be Penny (Annais) and her band, "Fish Circus."
Sought are a mix of the most "bizarre, despicable, hilarious acts," which could include :
