SMASH HIT BROADWAY MUSICAL EXPOSED
AT ACTORS' PLAYHOUSE AT THE MIRACLE THEATRE NOW – APRIL 9

Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre 280 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables, Florida 33134 Phone: (305) 444-9293

Sometimes getting by in life demands going the full distance, going The Full Monty! Such is the case for a group of unemployed steelworkers, when Actors' Playhouse presents the Tony®-nominated Broadway musical The Full Monty, Now – April 9 at the Miracle Theatre.

Based on the British film, The Full Monty is the raucous and heartfelt story of six unemployed steelworkers in Buffalo, NY. This close-knit group is willing to go to great lengths to make some cash and help out a friend who is in danger of losing joint custody of his son because he is behind on his child support payments. When a male strip show – whose dancers venture down to their G-strings – is a hit with the local women, the cash-strapped factory workers figure they can cash in big time if they go "The Full Monty." By the end of the show – for these six guys and for the audience – it's not about the stripping. It's about the journey they have taken together, and it's about turning your life around. The entire evening is about where friendship, love, family and determination can take you if you hold on tight.

Four-time Tony Award® winning writer Terrence McNally/> adapted the screen hit for the stage and added his own unique brand of American comedy to the story. Pop composer David Yazbek/> created the music and lyrics.

"The Full Monty is adult, contemporary musical theatre at its best. The characters are so real, the music is hot and the script is hysterical. We know people are going to have a blast at The Full Monty," said Director David Arisco.

Arisco has assembled an impressive cast with many Actors' Playhouse veterans. TALLY SESSIONS (Jerry Lukowski) is a Carbonell Award winner for

ALLEN, HEATH KELTS, SHANE TANNER, JESSICA ELAM, CHRISTOPHER KENT, EZEQUIEL HERNANDEZ, DANIELLE WORTH, DAVID PEREZ-RIBADA, ANDREW ARISCO, and PAUL POPPE.
