Surfside Players Present DEAD MAN'S CELL PHONE

By:

An incessantly ringing cell phone in a quiet café. A stranger at the next table who has had enough. And a dead man - with a lot of loose ends.

So begins Dead Man's Cell Phone, a wildly imaginative new comedy by Sarah Ruhl, author of The Clean House and Eurydice.

A work about how we memorialize the dead-and how that remembering changes us-it is the odyssey of a woman forced to confront her own assumptions about morality, redemption, and the need to connect in a technologically obsessed world.

Surfside Players, Cocoa Beach, will be performing this unique dark comedy for ONE WEEKEND ONLY, October 7 - 9, Friday and Saturday 8:00pm and Sunday 2:00pm. All tickets are $10.00, with open seating. Directed by TRoy Jones. Presented by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.

Surfside's revived Second Stage program presents non-mainstream theatre in a blackbox setting on weekends between the runs of our Main Stage shows. Scenery and costumes are minimized, with the full spotlight on the actors.

To get to Surfside from the mainland, take 520 or 528 to A1A South, or take Pineda or US-192 to A1A North. Drive into Cocoa Beach, and turn west on Fifth Street South.
