Surfside Players Announces December Events

Surfside Players will be presenting a number of Christmas and holiday productions at The Playhouse in Cocoa Beach, FL in the weekends leading up to Christmas.
Thursday – Saturday at 8:00pm and Sunday at 2:30pm, December 1st – 4th – ONE WEEKEND ONLY:
Playwrights Workshop presents HOLIDAY FLAVORINGS, three original Christmas one-acts by local Brevard County authors: “Christmas Lights” by Ken Byrnes, “Santa Claws” by William P. Roeder, and “The Innkeepers’ Tale” by Mario Busacca. Directed by Joan Dunn and Arlan Ropp; produced by TRoy Jones. Tickets are just $5.00. www.playwrightsworkshopbrevard.org.
Friday, December 9th, 7:00pm, and Saturday, December 10th, 2:00pm – TWO SHOWS ONLY:
The Surfside Youth Players, directed by Charles M. White, show off their skills acquired in the Fall 2011 semester with performances of NOBODY FAMOUS, by D. M. Larson, in which a skeptical actress finds a fortune teller’s predictions of her fame coming eerily true. Produced by special arrangement with Free Drama; see www.freedrama.net for information.

Surfside is proud to host a concert of familiar Christmas and winter songs, Mark Baker FAMILY AND FRIENDS. Featuring Mark & Missy Baker, Jonah Baker, Michelle Lee, Rob & Kim Dickman, Scott & Arlene Sutherland, Deborah Miller, Gretchen Lux, Dorothy Gal, Kyrsten Chambers, Hunter Curry, Mansoor Khan, and Gail Wiseman.
