Steve Solomon Comes To The Van Wezel 12/12

By: Dec. 01, 2010

Steve Solomon is bringing his new show, My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish and I'm Home for the Holidays, The Therapy Continues...,to the VAN WEZEL PERFORMING ARTS HALL on Sunday, December 12, at 7 p.m.

It's a time of Peace, a time of Joy-a time of remembering why you left home in the first place! Amidst all the classic holiday tales, full of righteousness and cheer Steve Solomon appeals to those more authentic holiday moments-the ones that trade out Norman Rockwell for a zany holiday dinner at Grandma's.

Steve Solomon, a Brooklyn native, grew up in the multi-ethnic neighborhood of Sheepshead Bay which was the perfect training ground for a dialectician. STEVE has honed the art of impersonation into a science. He masterfully weaves different characters into stories that take on lives of their own. Steve Solomon'S style of story telling is so organic and comfortable that it is like being with a dear, eccentric, hilarious friend. Through all the hustle, bustle and holiday stress Steve Solomon will having you laughing about the quirkiness of your own family, along with his.

Ticket prices range from $10 to $45. For more information and to buy tickets, contact the Van Wezel Box office at (941) 953-3368 or log onto www.vanwezel.org. This show is sponsored by Wilde Lexus of Sarasota & ABC 7.
