Stephanie St. James Opens Acting Studio in Miami, Florida 8/16
Broadway Actress Stephanie St. James who was born in Miami, Florida returns to her roots to open up a new acting studio "The St. James Experience" Acting Studio. Stephanie has been seen internationally in such musicals as her NAACP Theater Award Nominated role for best supporting actress as Squeak in Oprah Winfrey Presents "The Color Purple", as Mabel in Fame-The European Tour, as Rusty in the first national tour of Footloose just to name a few. She recently completed a run as Mimi in Rent for 6th Street Playhouse in Northern California where she will return to play Esther in Intimate Apparel for Black History Month in 2011. Her goal has been to create a space for actors and performers to have a safe environment to explore and grow artistically and she's excited to announce the opening of her studio on August 16, 2010. As director of the studio Ms. St. James will teach and offer Master Classes by guest Broadway Performers.
