Stageworks Presents 'As Bees in Honey Drown' At Shimberg Playhouse In Tampa, Closes 7/25

By:

As Bees in Honey Drown is coming to the Shimberg Playhouse this season. The theater is located at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center at 1010 N. W.C. MacInnes Place, Tampa, Florida. The show will play July 8-25. It will begin at 8PM Thursdays - Saturdays and Sundays at 4PM. Ticket Prices are $24.50 and $10 for Students and Seniors. Single tickets available at 813-229-7827 or online at www.strazcenter.org.

The show is a comedy about the pitfalls of the unquenchable hunger for fame. Eager almost-famous painters, singers, musicians, business managers, and, of course, authors- the occupation of the protagonist of this play-are displayed as easily trapped victims of con artists who promise big, but empty, dreams. By the same author as the much lauded "The Little Dog Laughed". Stageworks offers a riotous summer romp with Nick Horan of "Little Dog Laughed" returning, also featured are Heather Krueger, Patrick Bolger, Slake Counts, Tia Jemison and Alison Burns.

For more information call 813-251-8984 or go to www.stageworkstheatre.org.
