Back by popular demand, Steven Brinberg (Winner of New York City Mac and Bistro Award for Best Cabaret) returns to the Rising Action as everyone's favorite diva, Barbra Streisand -- with a NEW show that salutes Oscar-winning songs. The show takes place at the Rising Action Theatre Co. at 840 E. Oakland Park Blvd in Ft. Lauderdale.

On Saturday, March 14th, Producer, Director (and former performer) Richard Jay-Alexander will be SIMPLY BARBRA'S Special Guest and duet on two songs.

Performances for Mr. Brinberg will be Thursday at 8 pm; Friday and Saturday at 9:30 pm; and Sunday at a time to be announced.

Steven Brinberg writes and stars as Simply Barbra which is updated annually as he travels the globe with the show. This year he appears with Marvin Hamlisch and the Symphony Orchestras of Dallas, Milwaukee, Buffalo and Norfolk. Prior appearances with Mr. Hamlisch include one with Barbara Cook and the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center and another at Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh. He recently narrated the New York City Gay Men's Chorus concert at Avery Fisher Hall, written especially for him by Terrence McNally. That program was also seen in Seattle.
