Ft. Lauderdale audiences will kick up their heels when the RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR, starring the World-Famous Radio City Rockettes, makes its triumphant return to The Broward Center for the Performing Arts for the 2007 holiday season!

Performances begin Thursday, November 8, 2007 for a limited engagement through Sunday, December 2, 2007 with 51 dazzling performances at Ft. Lauderdale‛s Broward Center for the Performing Arts located at 201 SW 5thAvenue in downtown Ft. Lauderdale. To get to the Broward Center, take I-95 to Broward Boulevard and head east to SW 5th Avenue; the parking garage for the Broward Center is immediately on the right; and the Broward Center is located just south of the parking garage.

Tickets may by purchased by phone and internet through the Broward Center Box office at 954-462-0222 or www.browardcenter.org, and Ticketmaster phones at 954-523-3309 in Broward, 305-358-5885 in Dade, and 561-966-3309 in Palm Beach or at www.ticketmaster.com. The Broward Center AutoNation Box Office window will close at 5pm. Tickets are also available through Ticketmaster outlets, and please note outlet times vary, and I recommend checking with your local Ticketmaster outlet in advance. The the RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR, made its Ft. Lauderdale debut in 2003, playing to sold-out houses throughout a very successful run. The debut engagement played to more than 123,000 theatergoers in 48 performances, breaking box office records. 

The CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR is exactly that…a spectacular. A cast and crew of nearly 100 people will return to Ft. Lauderdale this season to deliver a holiday show experience like never before. The RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR is sure to give audiences holiday memories to last a lifetime. Children of all ages will be enchanted by live holiday entertainment as teddy bears dance, wooden soldiers come to life, reindeer fly, elves rap, and the Radio City Rockettes perform their fancy footwork and eye-high kicks. The New York Times says, "BRILLIANT! It lifts the spirit and spreads warmth, joy and good will!"

Those who may have glowing memories of the famed New York production of the RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR will be thrilled to see the spectacle and excitement return to Ft. Lauderdale. Famed dance numbers that await are the classic scenes "The Parade of the Wooden Soldiers" and "The Living Nativity," both of which have been performed in the CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR since 1933. In addition to the traditional favorites, the stage will come alive with newer scenes that will amaze audiences including "The 12 Days of Christmas," a sizzling Rockette tap number and "Christmas in New York," a high-kicking Rockette number direct from the stage of New York City. The RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR is non-stop excitement until the curtain falls.
